Step-by-step instructions
1. Open the Shopify Theme Editor
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes
Find your current theme and click Edit theme
2. Navigate to Your Product Template
In the top dropdown, choose Products > Default product
Tip: If you use a custom product template, select that instead.
3. Add the Smart Size App Block
In the left sidebar, scroll down to where you want the quiz to appear (e.g. Product information, Main content)
Click Add block (+)
Choose Apps > Button for size quiz from the list
You will see two options:
Button for size quiz
Is the standard option recommended for most merchants. It can only be placed on product pages, where it automatically detects the current product and decides which quiz to display based on that product’s collections, tags, type, and vendor. No manual configuration is needed.
Button for static size quiz (advanced)
Is intended for more advanced use cases. It can be placed on any page in your store, not just product pages, and requires you to manually enter a specific Quiz ID. This makes it useful when you want a button to always open a fixed quiz regardless of page context, such as on a landing page, collection page, or custom page. It also lets you optionally set a custom product image and title to display in the popup.
4. Save Your Changes
Click Save in the top-right corner to publish the app block to your store.
