The free plan gives you access to everything SmartSize offers:
50 unique visitors per calendar month
Unlimited size recommendations per visitor

No watermarks or branding restrictions
There are no feature gates. The only difference between free and paid plans is the number of visitors included each month.
How are visitors counted?
A unique visitor is one person (device) who receives a size recommendation in a given calendar month. If the same shopper visits 5 times and checks sizing on 10 products, that's still 1 unique visitor.
Your quota resets automatically on the 1st of each calendar month. Unused visitors don't roll over.
What happens when I reach 50 visitors?
Your quiz is never turned off. Here's what happens:
Starting from visitor #51, new shoppers will see a 5-second countdown timer before receiving their size recommendation
Returning visitors (already counted this month) are not affected — they get instant results as usual
The timer is automatically removed when your quota resets at the start of the next calendar month
The 5-second delay is a brief pause — shoppers still get their recommendation, just a moment later. It's a gentle nudge to upgrade, not a blocker.
Will I know when I'm approaching my limit?
Yes — SmartSize sends you email notifications so there are no surprises:
At 80% of your quota (40 visitors) — a heads-up that you're getting close
At 100% of your quota (50 visitors) — letting you know the timer is now active
These emails go to your store's email address. You can also check your usage anytime in the app — go to Home and look at the Plan & Usage section.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The free plan has a hard cap at 50 visitors. There are no overage fees, no surprise bills, and no charges of any kind. You will never be billed unless you actively choose to upgrade to a paid plan.
Can I stay on the free plan forever?
Yes. The free plan has no time limit. It's ideal for stores that are just getting started, testing SmartSize, or have limited traffic. Use it for as long as it works for you.
When should I consider upgrading?
Upgrade when you consistently reach the 50-visitor limit and the 5-second timer affects your shopper experience. Signs it's time:
You're getting the 100% quota email every month
The timer activates early in the month, affecting most of your visitors
You want your shoppers to always get instant recommendations
