Your Plan & Usage dashboard
The moment you open the SmartSize app, the Plan & Usage section is right on your Home page. At a glance, you can see:
Your current plan — which plan you're on and how many visitors are included
Usage this month — how many unique visitors have received a size recommendation so far, shown as a number, percentage, and visual progress bar
Usage gauge — a circular indicator that fills up as you approach your monthly quota
No digging through menus. No separate billing portal. Your usage is the first thing you see.
Email notifications before you hit your limit
SmartSize automatically sends email alerts to your store's email address at two key moments:
At 80% of your quota — a heads-up so you can decide whether to upgrade or ride it out
At 100% of your quota — letting you know you've reached your limit for the month
You'll see exactly which email address receives these alerts directly in the Plan & Usage section — for example: "We'll email you at [email protected] when you reach 80% and 100% of your quota."
This way, you're never caught off guard — even if you don't check the app regularly.
Monthly usage history
Below your current month's usage, you'll find a Unique visitors per month chart. This bar chart shows your visitor count for each of the past months, so you can:
Spot traffic trends over time
See whether your current plan still fits your store
Make informed decisions about upgrading or downgrading

How we count — fair and simple
SmartSize counts unique visitors per calendar month. Here's what that means in practice:
Each shopper is counted once per month, no matter how many times they visit your store
A visitor who checks sizing on 10 different products still counts as 1 unique visitor
Every visitor gets unlimited size recommendations for the entire month
Your quota resets automatically on the 1st of each calendar month
One visitor, one count, unlimited value.
What happens when you reach your limit?
It depends on your plan:
Plan type | What happens at the limit |
Free plan | New visitors see a 5-second countdown timer before receiving their recommendation. Returning visitors are not affected. No charges — ever. |
Paid plans | Recommendations are never blocked. Additional visitors beyond your included quota are billed at your plan's overage rate (shown in your plan details). |
In both cases, you're notified by email before you reach the limit, and once you have reached it.
