Chart-level fields

Title

The name of the size chart as it appears in the SmartSize dashboard and in the chart header on your storefront.

Status

Value

Description

Draft

The chart is visible only to you in the SmartSize dashboard. Shoppers cannot see it.

Active

The chart is live on matching product pages.

Change the status in the dropdown at the top of the editor, then click Save.

Content sections and blocks

Size charts are built from sections that contain blocks. Each section is a container. Each block is a piece of content.

Block type

What it shows

Text

Headings, paragraphs, notes, or instructions.

Table

A size measurement table with rows and columns.

Image

A photo, diagram, or illustration.

Video

An embedded video file or link.

Divider

A horizontal line that separates content.

Button

A call-to-action link.

Recommendation

Size table block fields

The size table block is the core of most size charts. It displays size rows and measurement columns.

Description

Size label

The name of each size row, such as XS, S, M, L, XL.

Measurement columns

One column per body measurement, such as Bust, Waist, or Hip. Each cell accepts a value or range.

Add size

Adds a new size row.

Delete size

Removes a size row.

Minimal borders, open spacing.

Boxed

Visible outer borders with contained cells.

Dark header

Contrasting header row with inverted colors.

Pill

Size labels appear as rounded badges.

The table above describes each style. The Clean style is a good starting point for most stores.

Border visibility

Choose which borders are shown: all, outer only, or none.

Border thickness

How heavy or light the borders appear.

Cell spacing

The padding inside each cell and the gap between cells.

Column width

Adjust the width of each column or let columns size automatically.

Alignment

Left, center, or right alignment for text inside cells.

Table colors

Header background

Background color for the header row.

Cell background

Background color for data cells, including alternating row options.

Border color

Color for table borders.

Text color

Color for text inside the table.

Table typography

Description

Font family

The typeface for table text.

Font size

The base size for table text.

Font weight

Normal or bold.

Line height

The spacing between lines of text.

Column management

Field

Description

Measurement columns

Which body measurement columns are included in the table, such as Bust, Waist, Hip.

Display columns

Which columns are visible to shoppers. You can hide columns that are used internally but not shown on the storefront.

Extra columns

Additional non-measurement columns for notes or garment-specific data.

Column selection

Choose which data columns appear in the table block.

Product display rules

Field

Description

Select products

Opens the product picker to choose individual products.

Select collections

Opens the collection picker to choose Shopify collections.

Select types

Opens the product type picker.

Select tags

Opens the tag picker.

Match condition

Whether the chart matches any or all of the selected rules.

Priority

When multiple charts or quizzes match the same product, the one with the highest priority wins.

Matching products

Shows how many products in your catalog currently match the rules.

Description

Desktop

Shows how the chart will look on a desktop browser.

Mobile

Shows how the chart will look on a phone.

Use the preview to check readability, spacing, and whether the table fits within the screen width before publishing.
