A reference for every field and option in the SmartSize fit quiz editor and related global settings.
Quiz editor fields
Status
Value | Meaning |
Draft | The quiz is visible only to you in the SmartSize dashboard. Shoppers cannot see it. |
Active | The quiz is live on matching product pages. |
Change status in the dropdown at the top of the quiz editor, then click Save.
Size table
Field | Description |
Add files | Upload a size chart image for AI extraction. |
My image contains | Tells SmartSize what kind of data is in the image: body measurements, product measurements, or mixed. |
Start Extraction | Begins AI analysis of the uploaded image. |
Copy table | Copies the current size table to your clipboard. |
Paste table | Pastes tab-separated data into the size table. |
Add size | Adds a new size row manually. |
Size columns | One column per body measurement selected when the quiz was created. Each cell accepts a minimum and maximum value. |
Product display rules
Field | Description |
Select products | Opens the product picker to choose individual products this quiz matches. |
Match condition | Whether the quiz matches any or all of the selected rules. |
Priority | When multiple quizzes or charts match the same product, the one with the highest priority wins. |
Matching products | Shows how many products in your catalog currently match the rules. |
Connected size chart
Field | Description |
Link to size chart | Opens a modal to search and connect a SmartSize size chart to this quiz. |
Linked chart | The size chart shoppers can open from the same product page as this quiz. |
Advanced settings
Measurement review step
Value | Description |
Skip to recommendation | Shoppers go straight to the size recommendation after entering measurements. |
Show review step | Shoppers see a review screen where they can adjust predicted measurements before receiving a recommendation. |
Product fit settings
Field | Description |
Pick a product type | Categorizes the product so SmartSize uses the right fit logic. For example, A-line dress, straight jeans, or oversized sweater. |
Fit ease | How much extra room the garment is designed to have. |
Fabric stretch | How much the fabric stretches. Higher stretch means the quiz can recommend a slightly smaller size when the shopper is between sizes. |
Measurement priorities | Which measurements matter most for this product. Bust, waist, and hip can be ranked by importance. |

Global fit quiz settings
These settings affect all fit quizzes in your store and are managed from Global settings > Fit quiz settings.

Store locale | Follows the shopper's storefront locale automatically. |
Metric | Always shows centimeters and kilograms. |
Imperial | Always shows inches and pounds. |

Popup position and styling
Setting | Description |
Popup position | Where the fit quiz modal appears on desktop: centered, left side, or right side. |
Mobile layout | Whether the quiz opens full screen or as a floating panel on mobile. |
Accent color | The highlight color used for buttons and interactive elements in the quiz popup. |
Corner rounding | How rounded the popup corners are. |
