The fonts your size chart uses live in Settings → General settings → Typography. They apply to the text shoppers see across SmartSize popups and embedded panels, and the Live preview on the right updates in real time as you change them. By default, SmartSize uses its own font pairing — Poppins for headings and Inter for body copy — which loads instantly and needs no setup.
Change the font family
To use a different font, select Choose from an open-source font catalog and pick one from the Font family dropdown — a curated list of popular open-source fonts used across Shopify themes, from sans serifs like Inter, Roboto, and Montserrat to serifs like Playfair Display and Merriweather. Check the preview, then click Save.
Change the font size
The Font size slider scales all popup text at once, from 80% to 120% — useful when your chosen font naturally renders larger or smaller than the default pairing. You can also type an exact value in Font scale (%); 100% is the standard size. If you want to start over, Reset to default brings back the SmartSize pairing at 100%.
💡 Tip: these settings are your store-wide defaults for every size chart and fit quiz. Inside the size chart editor you can still fine-tune the font size of individual text and table blocks — but the font family always comes from here.
