How to review predicted measurements

Decide whether shoppers can check and fine-tune their AI-predicted body measurements before seeing their size recommendation.

When a shopper takes your fit quiz, SmartSize predicts their body measurements — like waist and hips — from a few simple answers. The measurement review step is an optional screen where shoppers can check and fine-tune those predicted values before seeing their size recommendation. You decide whether that screen appears.

Choose your store default

In SmartSize, open Settings and pick Measurement review under Fit quiz settings. There are two options: Show review step adds the review screen to your quizzes, and Skip to recommendation takes shoppers straight from their answers to their size. Pick one and save.

This is your store-wide default — it applies to every fit quiz set to use the store default. Quizzes with their own quiz-specific setting are not affected.

What shoppers see

With the review step on, shoppers land on a Review your measurements screen right after their last answer. Each predicted value is marked Estimated. Shoppers can tap a value to adjust it, switch between imperial and metric units, or open How to measure for guidance. When everything looks right, they tap Looks good — find my size to see their recommendation.

Showing the review step is the right choice when accuracy matters most: a shopper who knows their exact measurements can correct a prediction, and the recommendation is calculated from the adjusted values. Skipping it keeps the quiz as short and frictionless as possible.

💡 Tip: a single quiz can behave differently from the rest of the store. In that quiz's editor, open Advanced settings, find the Measurement review step card, and switch from Use store default to a quiz-specific choice.
