How is fit quiz usage calculated?

Your plan's limit counts unique quiz takers, not recommendations — each quiz taker gets unlimited recommendations, unfinished quizzes cost nothing, and returning shoppers are remembered.

Your plan's monthly limit counts unique quiz takers — not individual recommendations. If your plan includes 100 per month, that means 100 different shoppers can take the quiz that month, and each of them can get unlimited size recommendations. A quiz taker counts once, no matter how many times they come back.

Who counts as a quiz taker

  • A shopper who finishes the quiz and receives a size recommendation — that's 1.

  • Everything else that shopper does for the rest of the month — retaking the quiz, checking their size again — counts as 0.

  • The counter resets every month.

What costs nothing

  • Browsing your store or seeing the Find my size button

  • Opening the quiz without finishing it

  • Viewing size charts — they're never counted

  • Repeat visits by someone who already took the quiz this month

We remember your quiz takers

When a shopper completes the quiz, SmartSize saves their measurements in their browser for about 3 months. On their next visit they get their size recommendation instantly, without taking the quiz again — and they still count only once per month. Returning customers get the fastest possible path to the right size.

Check your usage

If you hit your limit

We email you before and when you reach your monthly limit. Past the limit, size charts keep working as normal — quiz shoppers may just wait a little longer for their recommendation. Upgrading to a higher tier restores the normal flow right away.

💡 Why unique quiz takers? It keeps usage fair and predictable: your quota reflects how many different shoppers you helped find their size — not clicks, page views, or repeat visits.
