Prefer to show the size chart on the product page itself, instead of behind a button? With SmartSize's Custom integration you add one small snippet to your theme, and the full size chart renders directly in the page — no button, no popup. Setup takes about five minutes.
Step 1 - Turn on Custom integration
In your Shopify admin, go to SmartSize → Settings and open Button size charts → Placement. Scroll down to Advanced options, and on the Custom integration card click Use this method.
Step 2 - Copy the inline snippet
Click Show setup steps on the card and find the section Render the size chart inline (no JavaScript). Copy the snippet below, then click Save at the top of the page:
<div data-smartrecom-sizechart-content></div>
Step 3 - Add a block in the theme editor
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize and open your product template. Inside the Product information section, click Add block at the spot where you want the size chart to appear — for example, right under the variant picker.
Step 4 - Choose the Custom Liquid block
In the block picker, search for custom and select Custom Liquid.
Step 5 - Paste the snippet and save
Paste the snippet from Step 2 into the Liquid code field. You can drag the block up or down to fine-tune its position, then click Save.
Important: Our default size charts come with a title and with tabs that include 'measurement instructions'. If you want to have a more lean experience (like the one shown in the image above), you may remove the title and the tabs via your Size chart editor.
Step 6 - Check your product page
Open the product on your storefront. SmartSize finds the empty <div> and renders the full size chart directly in the page — sizes, measurements, and the unit switcher included. There's no button and no popup, and shoppers see the chart without clicking anything.
💡 Tip: the inline chart only appears on products linked to an active size chart, and the SmartSize app embed must be enabled in your theme. If nothing shows on the page, check those two things first.
