How to enable your quiz in different languages

Your fit quiz follows your storefront language automatically — see the 24 supported languages, how the language is chosen, and what to do if yours isn't listed.

Good news: there's nothing to enable. Your fit quiz automatically follows the language your shopper is browsing your storefront in. All quiz text is translated and maintained by the SmartSize team, so you never translate anything yourself — if your storefront runs in a supported language, the quiz simply appears in that language.

How the quiz language is chosen

SmartSize uses the storefront language your shopper is viewing:

  • If the exact locale is supported, the quiz uses it — for example pt-BR shows Brazilian Portuguese.

  • If the exact regional locale isn't available, the quiz uses the closest language match — a regional French locale falls back to fr.

  • If there's no supported match, the quiz appears in English.

What you translate — and what we do

Quiz questions, result text and recommendation wording are translated and kept up to date by the SmartSize team, so they're always covered in every supported language. Two things stay in your hands:

Need a language that isn't listed?

Contact SmartSize support and include: the language you need, the locale code if you know it, your store URL, the markets or countries where you plan to use it, and your expected launch date if there's a deadline. We review requests and prioritize them based on merchant demand.

If the quiz appears in the wrong language

Check that your storefront language is set correctly in Shopify, that you're viewing the storefront in the intended language, and that the language is on the supported list above. If the language is supported but the quiz still appears in English, contact SmartSize support with the product URL and the storefront language you expected to see.

💡 Tip: to test another language, switch your storefront's language picker and reopen the quiz — it always follows the language the shopper is browsing in.
